Political-merchandise eligibility

At this time, Sokavo is not accepting vendors who sell political merchandise. This includes campaign materials, candidate or political-party merchandise, political slogans, and products intended to promote a political position, movement, or cause. This applies to website and hosted-storefront vendors, physical and digital products, sitemap-discovered products, and products added or updated after approval. Existing Print On Demand rules remain in effect.

Sokavo reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether a vendor, product, design, slogan, listing, or marketing message falls within the political-merchandise category. Sokavo may request clarification, decline an application, withhold publication, unpublish a product, remove a listing, or suspend review under this policy. Checking the application box does not guarantee approval.

Freedom of expression, independent websites, and appeals

Sokavo supports artists, creators, and lawful freedom of expression. Its prohibited-product and content rules apply to content listed on Sokavo, displayed in a Sokavo-hosted storefront or vendor profile, used in Sokavo marketing, promotions, emails, reviews, feeds, or discovery pages, or imported from a vendor website into a Sokavo listing.

For vendors with independent websites, Sokavo’s policies apply only to listings, descriptions, images, products, and marketing content displayed or promoted through Sokavo. Sokavo does not control or require changes to lawful content that remains on an independent vendor website. A vendor may continue displaying or selling a rejected product on its own website if lawful and otherwise compliant. Sokavo reserves the right not to list, promote, feature, link to, or market the product through Sokavo.

This does not override rules concerning explicitly illegal content, exploitation, fraud, threats, unlawful violence, prohibited goods, or activity Sokavo must restrict or remove by law. For a non-illegal listing rejection or removal, Sokavo will identify the listing and policy category, explain the reason, provide correction instructions where possible, and offer an appeal. The listing remains unpublished while an appeal is reviewed unless Sokavo determines removal was in error. An appeal is not required before action Sokavo reasonably believes necessary for explicitly illegal content, illegal facilitation, immediate safety risks, or compliance with law or a valid legal request.

Sokavo may suspend or terminate membership subject to applicable law and the Vendor Terms, including where continued participation creates significant customer, vendor, platform, payment-processing, reputational, or legal-compliance risk. Membership termination does not mean Sokavo determined that every vendor product or independent-site content is illegal; it means Sokavo has chosen to end platform membership or discovery services. Vendors remain responsible for their independent websites and compliance with applicable law.
