Prohibited and regulated products policy

Sokavo may decline to list or promote products under its prohibited and regulated-products rules. These rules govern content displayed or promoted through Sokavo, not lawful content remaining on an independent vendor website. Non-illegal listing decisions include a reason and an opportunity to appeal; listings remain unpublished during review unless removal was in error. Immediate legal and safety exceptions apply.

Fair Competition and Honest Pricing

Sokavo does not control vendor pricing or require vendors to match other vendors. Vendors may set their own prices, offer discounts, run sales, clear inventory, introduce new products, use loss-leader pricing, or price below competitors. Sokavo does not prohibit a vendor merely for lower prices or because another vendor disputes a product’s value.

Vendors may not use deceptive, fraudulent, or intentionally harmful practices, including fake discounts or false “was/now” pricing; misrepresenting regular price, value, quality, origin, or availability; bait-and-switch pricing; hidden fees; false limited-time or scarcity claims; undisclosed product or price substitution; coordinating prices; price-fixing, bid-rigging, or other unlawful price-control agreements; copied listings, stolen images, scraped descriptions, or impersonation to undercut another vendor; fake accounts, reviews, or complaints; deliberate search or category-placement manipulation to harm another vendor; or pricing conduct Sokavo has clear reason to believe is unlawful or deceptively designed to eliminate competition.

Sokavo does not determine the fair market value of every product or act as a price regulator. Ordinary competition, low prices, discounts, loss-leader pricing, clearance sales, and disagreements about value are not grounds for removing a vendor or listing. Sokavo may review reported conduct where there is evidence of fraud, deception, intellectual-property infringement, impersonation, fake reviews, coordinated anti-competitive conduct, search-result manipulation, or another Vendor Terms violation. Website-vendor policy applies to pricing and competition content displayed or promoted through Sokavo; Sokavo does not control independent websites or ordinary lawful pricing outside Sokavo.

General Enforcement

Enforcement decisions are based on evidence of a policy or Vendor Terms violation, not merely on ordinary price competition. Vendors may appeal enforcement unless the conduct is clearly illegal, fraudulent, or presents an immediate risk to customers or the Sokavo platform.
